The participation costs for your volunteer work consist of two parts.
Organization Fee + Program Cost
All volunteer projects require an organization fee of 225 USD. This is the most attractive fee that you will find in the international volunteer market!
To provide more transparency, the volunteers pay the program costs on-site, directly to the volunteer project that they will participate in. This way, volunteers can be sure that their money is being used where it is needed most. In addition to covering your program and stay abroad, some of the money paid to your project will also be used to support the country you choose to volunteer in.
While the organization fee is a fixed amount, the program costs can vary depending on the project and the duration of participation. In every program description, you can find more information about the specific participation costs and the services that are included.
What is covered by the organization fee?
Volunteer Work Latin America uses the organization fee to cover the expenses to run our office, such as administrative costs, website maintenance, marketing, multilingual employees, costs for communicating with our volunteer projects, and travel costs to inspect the projects. Additionally, the fee covers the English-speaking support provided during the reservation process, an extensive factsheet about your volunteer program, a country handbook, and other valuable benefits that help to ensure a great stay abroad.
